Supervisor of Nursing Behavioral Health
This position involves overseeing nursing practices and staff in a healthcare setting located in Astoria, NY. It requires full-time commitment, including weekdays and occasional weekends. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of nursing processes and patient care management.
Demonstrated leadership and management skills. Ability to provide physical and psychological support to patients. Proficient in developing and implementing nursing care plans. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Proficient in using general office software. Available to be on call 7 days per week as needed.
BSN completion required. Master's degree preferred. Valid NYS RN license. NPI Number. Medicaid/Medicare Number preferred. Experience in counseling and teaching preferred. Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
