Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring ICU/Tele float capability and at least one year of acute/critical care experience.

Details

• Emergency Services unit within an acute care hospital setting
• 13-week travel assignment on night shift, 19:00-07:30
• No on-call requirements
• Float between ICU and Telemetry units as needed
• Skills required include strip interpretation and titration of drips

Requirements

• Active and valid IL RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff RN in acute or critical care hospital setting
• CCRN certification preferred
• COVID vaccination/boosters preferred

Additional Information

• Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining unit standards of care
• Communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient condition, hemodynamic monitoring, and diagnostic results
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
• Accepts local candidates
