• Role: Veterinary Technician
• Status: Full-time
• Salary: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
• Schedule: M-F alternating Saturdays and 1-2 night shift

We are looking for a compassionate, motivated Veterinary Room Technician to join our growing team! Our hospital is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on providing high-quality care to our patients and excellent service to our clients.

The Veterinary Technician plays an important role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring patients receive efficient, compassionate care.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting veterinarians during appointments and treatments
• Obtaining patient histories and accurate medical records
• Preparing exam rooms and equipment
• Safely restraining pets during examinations and procedures
• Educating clients on medications, treatments, and preventative care
• Maintaining a clean and organized treatment area
• Administer medications, vaccines, and anesthesia
• Monitor animals' vital signs and recovery
• Collect and perform lab tests on samples (blood, urine, etc.)
• Provide nursing care for sick or injured animals
• Feed, clean, and observe animals daily
• Maintain medical records and clinic documentation
• Communicate with pet owners about care and instructions
• Help manage appointments and general clinic tasks

Qualifications:

• Veterinary experience preferred (assistant or technician role)
• Strong communication and client service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Compassion for animals and their owners
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
