Travel Physical Therapist - $2,200 per week

Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Northport, Alabama. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position located in the inpatient setting. This role involves providing comprehensive physical therapy care to geriatric, neurological, stroke, and amputation patients. The position requires collaboration with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans, perform therapeutic interventions, and ensure all documentation meets department standards. Job Details Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week, with one weekend per month and holidays as required. Required Qualifications: Doctorate of Physical Therapy (PT) certification, current Alabama Physical Therapist License maintained in good standing, and at least 1 year of experience in the field of specialty, or 18 months if working under the highest level of professional license. Preferred Qualifications: Licenses in Occupational Therapy (OT) and Speech Language Pathology (SLP). Responsibilities: Evaluate patient needs, formulate treatment plans, document patient progress, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Must be able to analyze patient data, operate EMR systems, and perform therapeutic interventions as outlined. Physical Requirements: Able to exert force up to 100 pounds occasionally, and sustain physical activity including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and other movements necessary for patient care. Must maintain normal or corrected vision and hearing. Additional Information: The position is patient-facing, requiring onsite presence. The candidate must be willing to float to different units as needed. Timesheet approval will be managed by Kelly Nichols.
