Sr. Power Electronics Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Specify, design, implement, and thoroughly test low-level bare-metal and RTOS software for power electronics applications.
• Develop software component interfaces and robust real-time software components.
• Contribute to multicore application development and testing.
• Independently resolve technical challenges and ambiguities in requirements and designs.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and use debugging tools to verify software functionality.
• Create and maintain detailed software project documentation.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of embedded software development principles and strong C programming skills.
• At least 2 years of professional experience developing real-time embedded C systems.
• Experience with version control systems including GitFlow and GitLab.
• Ability to develop and use Python scripting for testing and automation.
• Familiarity with Bazel, CMake, and Makefile build systems and scripts; Bazel is preferred.
• Understanding of real-time software concepts and testing methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to independently design, implement, and test embedded software modules.
• Experience debugging embedded systems with standard tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science; a master's degree is a plus.
