Plant Engineering ManagerAt Niagara, we're looking for team members who want to be part of achieving our mission to provide our customers the highest quality most affordable bottled water.Consider applying here, if you want to:Work in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment with a chance to make an impact.Develop lasting relationships with great people.Have the opportunity to build a satisfying career.We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our team members.Essential functions:Routine facility maintenance duties including plant electrical infrastructure, chilled water systems, facility structural systems, compressed air systems, and water systemsDevelop and implement monitoring systems to evaluate equipment reliability, asset health, and maintenance effectivenessLead reliability engineering initiatives including reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), root cause analysis (RCA), and predictive maintenance technologiesEstablish asset management strategies to maximize equipment uptime, lifecycle performance, and maintenance cost efficiencyCoordinate and manage all preventative and predictive maintenance systems through in-house labor and external service providersManage technicians, engineers, and cross-functional teams to accomplish engineering, reliability, and continuous improvement objectivesPerform hands-on technical support as needed to ensure ongoing plant operations, including support of sorting, grind, washing, flake sortation, SSP, and pelletizingLead plant project work including capital projects, equipment upgrades, process design improvements, and corporate-driven initiativesDrive cost-savings projects aligned with company strategies through engineering improvements, reliability gains, and process optimizationLead process engineering efforts including process design, optimization, capacity analysis, mass balance, material flow, and throughput improvementsAnalyze production data to identify bottlenecks, reduce variability, and improve yield, efficiency, and product qualityLead lean six sigma initiatives including kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping (VSM), TPM, and SPC to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase throughputUtilize data-driven, structured problem-solving methodologies to improve process capability and reduce variationEstablish and implement visual controls, standard work, process audits, and performance management systemsAct as a change agent, continuously challenging current processes and driving a culture of continuous improvement across the plantPartner with plant leadership and corporate teams to identify, prioritize, and execute strategic initiatives aligned with business objectivesBuild and develop engineering and continuous improvement capabilities within the plant, including training, mentoring, and coaching team membersServe as a key contributor to plant safety by promoting safe behaviors, ensuring compliance, and actively participating in safety initiativesRegular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the jobPlease note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties, or responsibilities required.
