Work Environment\n

This is a remote position designed to afford our therapists the flexibility they need while ensuring they remain connected with their clients through innovative online platforms. The outpatient setting allows for a structured approach to treatment without the constraints of a traditional office setting, facilitating accessibility and continuity of care for our clients. Your work will typically be performed during standard hours, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the frequency, intensity, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, using structured tools and personal interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans aligned with their unique needs, goals, and values, integrating evidence-based methodologies.

• Implement therapeutic interventions, utilizing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide clients toward recovery.

• Educate clients and their families regarding mood disorders and available treatment options, ensuring that they understand self-care practices to support their mental health.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care, ensuring that all aspects of a client’s well-being are addressed.

• Stay informed about the latest research in mood disorders and implement new strategies to enhance the efficacy of treatment approaches.

• Maintain meticulous records, adhering to legal and ethical standards, to ensure client confidentiality and uphold the integrity of care.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development workshops to contribute to the collective growth of the practice.

• Advocate for clients to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues, actively promoting awareness and understanding.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our clients may encompass various demographics, including vulnerable populations such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. By understanding their unique circumstances, you will be able to provide tailored interventions and foster a supportive therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
