Position Summary
MECA Therapies, LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Visiting Manager to provide leadership, supervision, and program oversight for our Home Visiting team.
The Home Visiting Manager is responsible for supporting staff, ensuring high-quality services to children and families, monitoring program compliance, and maintaining operational consistency across the Home Visiting program. This position serves as a key connection between Home Visiting staff, program leadership, families, and internal support departments.
The ideal candidate is an organized, collaborative, and accountable leader who can balance staff development, coaching, compliance, quality assurance, and day-to-day program operations while maintaining a strong family-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and support to Home Visiting staff.
- Supervise, coach, and develop Parent Educators and other assigned program staff.
- Conduct regular individual and team meetings to provide guidance, feedback, and support.
- Monitor employee performance, productivity, attendance, documentation, and compliance with program expectations.
- Identify performance concerns early and work collaboratively with employees and HR to address concerns appropriately.
- Recognize employee strengths and support professional development and growth.
- Foster a positive, respectful, collaborative, and accountable team environment.
- Support employee onboarding, training, and integration into the Home Visiting program.
Program Operations & Compliance
- Ensure Home Visiting services are delivered in accordance with MECA policies, ECECD requirements, program standards, and applicable curriculum or model requirements.
- Monitor program activities to ensure required services, documentation, and timelines are completed accurately and timely.
- Maintain awareness of program requirements and communicate changes or expectations to staff.
- Monitor staff caseloads, service delivery, documentation, and program performance.
- Identify operational barriers and work with program leadership to develop effective solutions.
- Assist with preparation for audits, monitoring visits, quality reviews, and other compliance activities.
- Ensure concerns related to service delivery, documentation, or compliance are addressed promptly.
Staff Development & Coaching
- Provide ongoing coaching and technical assistance to Parent Educators and Home Visiting staff.
- Identify training needs based on staff performance, documentation reviews, program changes, and quality improvement activities.
- Support staff in understanding program expectations, documentation requirements, and service delivery standards.
- Promote consistent practices across the Home Visiting team and regions.
- Encourage professional growth, accountability, and independent problem-solving.
Caseload & Service Monitoring
- Monitor staff caseloads and service delivery to ensure families are receiving services within required timelines.
- Review documentation and service records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Work with staff to address missed visits, scheduling concerns, documentation deficiencies, and other barriers to service delivery.
- Monitor enrollment, participation, referrals, and other program indicators as applicable.
- Collaborate with the Home Visiting Data Manager to identify and resolve data or documentation discrepancies.
Family & Community Support
- Support staff in addressing family concerns and resolving service-related issues.
- Promote a family-centered and culturally responsive approach to service delivery.
- Assist with escalated family concerns or complaints when appropriate.
- Maintain professional relationships with community partners and other service providers.
- Represent MECA and the Home Visiting program professionally in community and program meetings.
Communication & Collaboration
- Work closely with the Home Visiting Director and other members of program leadership.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Data, Billing, and other internal departments as needed.
- Communicate program updates, deadlines, expectations, and changes effectively to staff.
- Participate in leadership, program, state, and community meetings as required.
- Escalate significant operational, employee relations, compliance, or service concerns to appropriate leadership.
Quality Improvement
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Review program trends and staff performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist leadership with implementing corrective actions and process improvements.
- Promote consistency, accountability, and high-quality service delivery across the Home Visiting program.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, social services, public health, human services, behavioral health, business, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant experience in home visiting, early childhood, healthcare, social services, or a related field.
- Previous supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working with ECECD-funded programs, home visiting programs, Parents as Teachers, or similar family-serving programs preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and family-centered services.
- Understanding of program compliance, documentation, and quality assurance requirements.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to coach employees while maintaining appropriate accountability and performance expectations.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation/database systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee and family information appropriately.
- Must be able to travel to MECA locations and community sites within New Mexico as needed.

Quality Assurance & Compliance Expectations
Home Visiting Managers are expected to:
- Maintain ethical, professional, and compliant practices in the delivery and oversight of Home Visiting services.
- Respect and support the rights, dignity, privacy, and needs of children and families served.
- Participate in and support regular quality assurance reviews, monitoring activities, and program evaluations.
- Complete or oversee required client file audits and ensure corrective actions are identified, implemented, and followed through as needed.
- Monitor staff documentation and service delivery to ensure compliance with MECA policies, ECECD requirements, applicable state regulations, and Home Visiting program standards.
- Ensure required documentation is accurate, complete, timely, and maintained in accordance with program requirements.
- Identify trends, deficiencies, or compliance concerns and communicate them to the appropriate program leadership.
- Provide staff with coaching, training, and corrective guidance when quality or compliance concerns are identified.
- Support continuous quality improvement efforts and the implementation of corrective action plans.
- Ensure Home Visiting services are delivered consistently and in accordance with applicable program requirements, evidence-based practices, and MECA standards.

Work Environment & Travel
This position works primarily in a professional office environment and may require travel to MECA Home Visiting locations and community sites throughout New Mexico. Travel requirements may vary based on program needs.
