Utility/Yard Employee

Job Title

This position conducts yard maintenance, loads and unloads trailers, and samples loads.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Taking verbal and written instructions from managers.
• Cleaning assigned work areas inside and outside of the property.
• Maintaining grass and cleanliness of the yard.
• Performing lab tests on incoming and outgoing tankers of oil and recording the data.
• Completing a daily log of all lab results.
• Taking samples from tanks.
• Loading and unloading company and customer trailers with the use of hydraulic and electrical pumps.
• Performing field maintenance on pumps, tanks, and trailers (replacing valves, gaskets, etc.).
• Other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. However, exceptions may be made based on experience or other qualifications.
• Experience working in related field.
• Knowledge of landscaping equipment.
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Ability to stand, crouch, and kneel for extended amounts of time.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. hoses.
• Ability to demonstrate time management skills.
