Pay Range: $15 - $17 per hour + TIPS

Archer Hotel Austin, a Texas-chic boutique hotel in northwest Austin at Domain NORTHSIDE, welcomes with 171 luxe guest rooms and balcony-clad suites, the buzzy first-floor AKB hotel bar, a second-floor Pool Patio and more than 16,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. The AAA Four Diamond, Forbes Four-Star hotel is part of the award-winning Archer Hotel collection — chock-full of thoughtful touches and local discoveries, and consistently ranking at the top of trusted review sites. The hotel is just off the N. Mopac Expressway in the heart of Domain NORTHSIDE, on Palm Way and across the street from Northside Lawn — with free employee parking in a nearby covered parking lot.

LodgeWorks is actively hiring for a Food + Beverage Host.

LodgeWorks is a privately held hotel development and management company. While our name isn't on the hotels themselves, our extraordinary culture is at the heart of our 18 hotels — including our award-winning Archer Hotel boutique collection and our portfolio of other great brands with familiar names, such as Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, Aloft, Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton Inn.

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, who is reliable, hard-working and dedicated and wants to grow with us. The host is the first and last impression of our guests' dining experience. This key individual plays an important role in the success of our busy operation. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, dependable and not afraid to smile.

The Day-to-Day

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Greet customers with a smile and pleasant demeanor.
• Make reservations through OpenTable.
• Answer the phone in a professional and courteous manner.
• Take feedback from diners and hotel guests.
• Carry drinks and food from the kitchen and bar areas to tables when applicable.
• Clean tables and spaces for future diners when applicable.
• Organize reservations for the shift, along with the floor plan for servers and staff.
• Print, fill and maintain menus.
• Execute the amenity process, including charges, direct delivery and pop-up amenities.
• Memorize food menu, cocktail and wine list.
• Take In-room Dining and takeout orders via telephone.
• Complete any other tasks requested by management.
