Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:2 depending on acuity
• Monitor and interpret fetal heart monitoring data throughout patient care
• Circulate and assist with cesarean section procedures as needed
• Support neonatal transitions and delivery room care
• Document patient care accurately using facility EMR systems
• Adhere to unit protocols including holiday scheduling requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• AWHONN certification in Fetal Heart Monitoring
• Minimum 5 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience circulating in cesarean section (CLS) procedures
• Experience with neonatal transition care
• Familiarity with Medhost, Centricity Perinatal, or Cerner EMR platforms
