Location: Margate, FL
Salary: $85,000–$90,000 per year, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Expected Pace: Approximately 1–2 patients per hour
Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy Office

A Physical Therapy Role Built Around Direct Patient Care

We are recruiting an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time outpatient position in Margate, FL.

Your workday will include new patient evaluations, ongoing treatment visits, reassessments, and progression of existing rehabilitation programs.

Patients may be managing joint stiffness, post-operative weakness, sports injuries, chronic musculoskeletal conditions, or limitations affecting their ability to complete work and household activities. You will determine what each patient can currently do, identify the barriers affecting function, and select treatment strategies suited to their stage of recovery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new patient evaluations and document baseline function
• Test joint motion, muscle strength, mobility, and functional capacity
• Prioritize treatment needs using examination findings
• Build structured rehabilitation programs for orthopedic diagnoses
• Lead patients through exercise-based treatment sessions
• Incorporate balance, stability, mobility, and neuromuscular activities when appropriate
• Reassess patients at appropriate stages of treatment
• Update rehabilitation goals as physical ability changes
• Communicate relevant findings with referring providers
• Maintain required treatment notes and progress documentation

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist (PT) License
• DPT Degree or MSPT Degree
• Previous outpatient physical therapy experience
• Orthopedic treatment experience
• Strong clinical decision-making skills
