Job Title

Travel RN – Behavioral Health Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients within an emergency department setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients presenting with behavioral health needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and responses to treatment in accordance with facility protocols
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency department setting
• Experience with behavioral health patient populations
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to meet travel assignment requirements and begin as scheduled

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience in a combined behavioral health and emergency department environment
• Familiarity with de-escalation techniques and behavioral health crisis intervention
