The salary is $21.00 to $22.00 Job Summary The position is responsible for monitoring, processing and recording Staci Americas 's outgoing deliveries including merchandise, stock, materials etc. Responsibilities: Prepare various types of transportation billing documents. Read shipping order to determine quantity, make determination as to type of transportation needed (UPS, FEDEX, LTL, and USPS) Compare identifying information and counts, weights, and/or measure items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading. Contact carriers to make arrangements and to issue instructions for loading products. Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet customer specifications. Operate forklift and pallet jacks to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to loading docks and/or trucks. Loads product into containers and/or trucks as needed. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Knowledge Of: Electronic equipment (scanners, electronic boards) Time organization and urgency Skilled In: Working in a team environment or independently Organization and planning Ability To: Adhere to shipping and inventory operating procedures Operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts Stand for long periods of time Reach and bend Selective Preference: The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment.
