Assembler-Day Shift

Quanex is looking for an Assembler-Day Shift to join our team located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

This position performs routine assembly in a climate-controlled production environment. The parts produced in our facility include window balances, handle sets, and locks.

Typical Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 am-2:30 pm.

What Success Looks Like:

• Understand and follow written, visual, and verbal instructions
• Operate a computer to fulfill customer orders
• Utilize machines and other equipment throughout the assembly process
• Ability to lift and move 35 pounds
• Perform assembly tasks while meeting production standards
• Responsible for adhering to all safety rules and quality standards
• Maintain a good attendance record
• Cross train in other departments as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned

Your Credentials:

• Ability to use a computer
• Ability to communicate with others
• Ability to find and correct safety hazards
• Ability to alternate stand for 10-hour shift

The hourly rate of pay for this position $17.00 per hour.
