Job Summary WaFd Bank is hiring a Personal Banker to assist clients with personal and business banking solutions, build relationships, and support community financial health. Location Bellingham, WA (2122 Barkley Blvd) Position ID 2026-4907 Compensation USD $20.77 – $28.82 per hour. Responsibilities Build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and provide solutions. Open new accounts, onboard new relationships, originate loans and lines, refer to partners. Make out‑of‑office business development calls to businesses, community organizations, and referral sources. Adhere to bank policies and procedures designed to comply with federal regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and OFAC regulations. Reflect the core values and ethics of WaFd Bank, including integrity, teamwork, ownership, simplicity, discipline, service, and kindness. Qualifications High school diploma or approved equivalent. Good math skills, 10‑key and keyboarding. Proficient in standard Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, Teams, PowerBI and Outlook. Well‑developed smartphone and digital channel skills. Excellent organizational, analytical, written and oral communication skills. Ability to demonstrate how to use automated technology to teach clients self‑service skills. Valid driver's license, satisfactory transportation, and adequate insurance coverage. Prior banking experience, including familiarity with lending and retail or consumer service delivery.
