Step into a rewarding contract assignment as a long-term substitute Speech-Language Pathologist, working full-time hours with a diverse K-12 caseload. Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication disorders
- Develop, implement, and revise treatment plans and therapy goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and data tracking
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and families to enhance communication strategies within the educational setting
