EFT Risk Analyst

Overview The EFT Risk Team monitors risk for ACH and other payment channels, ensuring ACH Origination activity is processed in line with UMB’s risk appetite. As the EFT Risk Analyst you will provide administration and support for multiple risk programs, processes, and audits that impact bank operations, and deliver insights on ACH accounts and activity. How You Will Spend Your Time Complete regular reports and specialized reports as requested. Analyze statistical reports on payment processing on a monthly basis. Present reporting and findings to senior and executive management each month. Perform self-testing of controls and bi‑annual risk self‑assessments. Gather and review data for various reviews and audits. Follow up on internal or external audit findings and resolve outstanding items. Identify potential process improvements and implement documentation. Maintain policies and procedures related to job duties. Stay current on industry activity, regulatory changes, and announcements. Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent experience. At least 1 year of experience in banking, financial processing, or an equivalent field. At least 1 year of compliance, audit, or risk experience. Bonus Points ACH Accredited Professional (AAP) Certification or Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP) Certification. Five years of specific experience working with electronic payments and/or treasury management products or processes. Experience with financial risk modeling. Compensation and Benefits US employees in California, Washington DC, New Jersey, and New York: $54,220 – $79,020. US employees in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin: $49,510 – $72,340. US employees in all other states: $44,790 – $65,650.
