Give us a call opt 1 Job Details: Shift: 8H Days Total Weekly Hours: 40 Certifications: BLS Trauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes: Required Skills / Certifications / Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience - Ambulatory OR skills - Ear/Nose/Throat skills including: Endoscopic sinus procedures, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Laryngectomy, Mastoidectomy/Tympanoplasty/Stapedectomy, Radical neck dissection, Scrub ENT Surgery, Septoplasty/Rhinoplasty, Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy & Tracheostomy - Pediatrics Ear/Nose/Throat skills including: Myringotomy with tubes, Scrub PEDI ENT Surgery & Tonsillectomy/adenoids - Emergency Management Skills: Code Response, Fire Safety, Latex Allergy & Malignant Hyperthermia - Professional Knowledge & Skills: Specimen Handling/labeling & Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure - Certifications: BLS - Charting System Experience: EPIC required Preferred Skills / Certifications / Experience: - Work Setting Skills: Pedi General OR - Endoscopic Procedures Skills: Bronchoscopy - Ophthalmology Skills: Cataract extraction/implant, Corneal transplant, Eye trauma, Glaucoma surgery, Scrub Ophthalmology Surgery & Vitrectomy - Pediatrics Ophthalmology Skills: Eye Trauma - Equipment/Instrumentation/Supplies Skills: Electrosurgical units & Fiber optic light sources/cords - Professional Knowledge & Skills: Infection control & Laser Safety Licensure: - NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal Additional Notes: - The facility will accept the first-time traveler if the RN can scrub and has good ENT experience. - Local candidates accepted with a rate difference. - Covid-19 vaccine not required; Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only.
