This is a hands-on role requiring precision, craftsmanship, and a commitment to quality in every coat. If you take pride in a perfect finish and want to work on iconic aircraft in a one-of-a-kind Pacific Northwest setting, this is your role.What You Will DoPrepare aircraft surfaces for painting including cleaning, sanding, masking, and primingApply paint, coatings, and finishes to aircraft exteriors and interior components using spray equipment and other application methodsMix, match, and blend paints and coatings to specificationInspect finished work for quality, coverage, and compliance with drawings and customer requirementsEnsure all work is performed in compliance with FAA regulations and company safety standardsDocument work performed in accordance with company and regulatory requirementsMaintain spray equipment and paint shop in clean, safe working orderWhat You Must BringMinimum 2 years of experience in aircraft, automotive, or industrial paintingProficiency with spray equipment and surface preparation techniquesKnowledge of paint mixing, application, and finishing methodsFamiliarity with safety protocols including proper use of PPE, ventilation requirements, and hazardous materials handlingStrong attention to detail and quality of finishAbility to read and interpret work orders and technical drawingsNice to HavePrior experience in aircraft painting or aviation MRO environmentKnowledge of FAA-approved coatings and materialsExperience with custom paint schemes, graphics, or detailingWhy Join UsKenmore Air is one of the most storied aviation companies in the Pacific Northwest.
