Gastroenterology Physician

Overview We are seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist to provide comprehensive care for patients with digestive system disorders. This role includes outpatient consultations, diagnostic procedures, and surgical interventions such as endoscopies and colonoscopies. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited institution Board certification in Gastroenterology Valid Georgia medical license and DEA registration Experience in outpatient and surgical settings preferred Commitment to serving underserved communitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Responsibilities Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal conditions across diverse populations Perform procedures including endoscopy, colonoscopy, and biopsies Provide pre- and post-operative care in coordination with surgical center staff Collaborate with primary care and behavioral health teams for integrated care Educate patients on preventive care and chronic disease management Document all encounters and procedures in the EMR system Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review #J-18808-Ljbffr
