Primary Responsibilities Follow all quality, health, safety, and environmental programs. Operate a variety of equipment (including forklifts, side-loaders, powered and unpowered lifts) to load, unload, and move product and materials. Operate hand tools in crate/container building. Maintain control of paperwork and related documents and process those documents in a timely manner. Handle other material‑handling functions such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and unpacking. Complete in a timely manner the shipment of product to meet customer’s needs. Other duties as assigned. Technical Skills Operation of forklift. Hand tools. Computer skills. Experience and Education High school diploma with a minimum of one year of work experience in a shipping and receiving position. Internal promotion with minimum technical work experience at manager’s discretion. Job Requirements Observes safety regulations, wears required safety equipment, encourages safe working practices, and corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to management. Adheres to all HSE requirements. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Working hours vary based on shift assigned and may include adjusted and/or lengthened work schedules requiring overtime to ensure timely completion of essential logistics functions. #J-18808-Ljbffr NOV
