MOTLOW STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE is accepting applications for the following position: Enrollment Assistant Campus: Smyrna Department : Admissions & Records Position number : B99714 Salary : $30,586 to $33,586 Motlow State is located in the beautiful rolling hills of middle Tennessee and has four campuses that serve students from eleven counties. Motlow positions are contingent upon funding availability and budget approval. General Function: Provide students, parents and families with efficient assistance with processing, inquiries, information and issue resolution related to cashier transactions, admissions, business office and very limited scope financial aid. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and one year or more of customer service experience in an educational, office administration or clerical setting. Preferred Qualifications: Associates degree or higher earned from a regionally accredited institution and one year of higher education experience in admissions, business office or financial aid. Higher education experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis for up to two years. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Provide students, parents and families with efficient assistance with processing, inquiries, information and issue resolution related to cashier transactions, admissions, business office and very limited scope financial aid. Assist students and parents/families with admission questions and issues including but not limited to admissions applications; high school/college transcripts; immunizations; transcript requests; proof of citizenship; state residency; test scores; and other general account information. Input admissions documents into Slate CRM for processing by the Admissions and Records Specialist including but not limited to high school transcripts, and ACT/SAT scores. Assist students and parents/families with Business Office questions and issues including but not limited to tuition/fees; past due balances; parking tickets; vehicle registration; parking passes; fee waivers/discounts; reimbursement/balance of financial aid checks; Assist with campus enrollment events as assigned Assist administrative staff for recruiting, TN promise, adult initiatives, and the division of Student Success with projects as needed. Coordinate scanning activities in Banner system, and disposal of received documents. Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of confidentiality statutes and policies as they apply to students, parents, families, FERPA and financial aid programs. Knowledge and ongoing understanding of federal, state, and institutional regulations regarding admissions, records, business office, and financial aid Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies. Strong computer skills, including but not limited to ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system(s) (Banner), word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, database, and internet.
