Quality Manager

About the Role We are immediately hiring a Quality Manager in Columbus, OH for our Supply Chain Solutions division. Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month Annual Salary Pay: $75,000-$90,000 per year based on experience Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with flexibility to work additional hours depending on the business needs. Provides regular and proactive communication to customers and Ryder management. Supports continuous improvement efforts as needed ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Designs, implements, maintains and audits the Quality Management System based on established company and/or industry standards. Implements a standardized corrective action system. Reports the effectiveness of the Quality Management System at regular management meetings. Supports regulatory compliance and certification requirements. Assists in implementing and maintaining Customer Satisfaction Management Process. Performs all functions related to Quality Assurance for a start-up or expansion. Engage the operations team and the customer to ensure achievement of business objectives. Supports Continuous Improvement deployment using fundamentals of Lean and Six Sigma. Provide training on Quality Assurance topics to identified employees. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Applies judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES May lead Continuous Improvement projects as necessary. Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long range goals of the organization. Managing Diversity & Inclusion. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION Bachelor's degree Business/Engineering/Supply Chain or minimum of 8 years of related work experience. EXPERIENCE Seven (7) years or more experience Operational Management. Five (5) years or more experience Quality Management/Process Improvement. MS Project Internal Audit/Corrective Action Systems software (e.g. JKT); advanced level; preferred. Process Mapping and Standard Operating Procedures documentation and Project Management; advanced level; preferred. LICENSES Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (1 Year, preferred). Other ASQ's Certified Quality Auditor (1 Year, preferred).
