Title Dental hygienist Job Description Perform thorough dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing (non-surgical periodontal therapy). Conduct comprehensive patient health assessments, review medical histories, and perform initial oral health screenings. Educate patients on optimal oral hygiene techniques, nutritional guidance, and preventive care strategies tailored to their individual needs. Capture and process diagnostic images and radiographs as needed for the dentist's comprehensive diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation in compliance with all healthcare regulations. Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure a seamless and high-quality patient experience. Ensure strict adherence to all infection prevention and control protocols, including proper sterilization and disinfection procedures. Salary Range full-time $45 - $65 per hour - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR Certification. Clinical Skills: Proficiency in all standard hygiene procedures, including patient assessment and scaling/root planing.
