Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Weekends Only (Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms as part of ongoing patient assessment
• Float as needed to designated units to care for the same patient population
• Participate in holiday coverage rotation, working at least every other holiday
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry (travel experience may substitute for the recent experience requirement)
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of permanent experience obtained within a single facility location
• Prior travel nursing experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry settings
