Medical Screener/ Phlebotomist

Job Description Must be available to work any schedule within the following timeframes (evening availability will also be considered). Mon : 10 am – 9 pm Tues – Thurs : 5 am – 9 pm Fri : 5 am – 8 pm Sat – Sun : 6 am – 5 pm This is a truly part‑time role, with most shifts lasting 4 to 6 hours per day, 3 or more days per week. Shift days and times are confirmed early in the interview process and you will be notified in advance of any schedule changes. About the role Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high‑quality plasma you collect will become life‑changing medicines. The role requires a commitment to excellent customer service and quality. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform as a plasma donor screener and phlebotomist to support plasma center operations. How you will contribute Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety. Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results. Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation. Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using approved procedures. Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. What you bring to Takeda High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to walk, stand, lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees for the entire shift. Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift up to 32 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and wear gloves for 90% of tasks due to bloodborne pathogen risk. Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance. At least 1 year of experience in a customer or patient‑facing role.
