Quality Inspector

Responsibilities:

 Perform inspections according to Quality Control Plan and ensure product compliance.

 Records inspection results in the industrial digital tools (SAP_GSI) as required.

 Perform non-destructive examination when required and qualified.

 Maintain inspection records per component, assembly and vehicle.

 Maintain Quality documentation for components, assemblies and vehicles.

 Preparation of approval and shipping documents.

 Control the correct calibration of critical equipment's and instrumentations used in the inspections

 Collaborate with SPQD, SQ Serial Engineers and Incoming Inspectors to ensure Control Plans are defined and registered in the ERP system

 Perform inspection and capture inspection results on ERP system, with clear and documented sampling rules, dynamically defined and updated.

 Ensure control plans are modified when NCRs are detected at incoming and on the production line

 Inform SQ Serial and Supply Chain on defects detected at Incoming (Non-conformities opened) and impact on part availability

Skills/Exp

• Mandatory Education:

o Associates degree, technical major.

o Familiar with SAP_GSI

o Competency to use computer applications and prepare KPIs and presentations

o Able to read drawings (2D and 3D) / specifications and be able to understand 3D geometry

o Familiar with a variety of measurement equipment.

• Desirable Education:

o Technical degree in Quality or Engineering is preferred

o Management experience in Supplier Quality or Incoming Inspection

• Mandatory experience:

o Min 2 years' experience within manufacturing industry

o Experience managing supplier relationships

o Experience using SAP or similar computer applications
