About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: - Acute care hospital experience required. - Minimum of 24 months current Intermediate/Progressive Care Unit experience required. License: - Must be willing to obtain Oregon nursing license. Certifications: - BLS (AHA) - ACLS (AHA) - Certifications must be obtained prior to starting. Must-Have: - Ability to float to other units as needed. - Skills checklist must be specific to the nursing discipline. Description: Within the RN scope of practice, applies the nursing process to the care of patients. Teaches patients and significant others. Documents patient care in the medical record. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient.
