Job Title: Mathematics Lecturer (9M)_Newark Department: Newark | General Position Type: Regular Scheduled Hours: 40 Shift: First Shift Location: Alford Center for Science and Technology (6013) Responsibilities Facilitate in‑class learning activities, assign and grade assessments (quizzes, exams, and homework where applicable). Offer weekly office hours, submit grades, and resolve ongoing student or course issues. May participate in professional development. Performance Objectives Teaching: Develop and deliver courses in an in‑person format and contribute to the creation and improvement of course content. Education and Experience Requirements Master’s degree required. Teaching experience at the post‑secondary level at a regional campus required, including university students at a pre‑college skill level. Desired Qualifications Familiarity with The Ohio State University’s Department of Mathematics courses and curriculum. Compensation The budget for this position is $50,000.
