Improve your construction site's efficiency and reduce weight with custom length channel strut.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Production Welder Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 19.00 to $ 21.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, fabrication drawings, and welding specifications.Perform MIG welding and assist with TIG, FCAW, GTAW, and other welding processes as needed.Set up and operate welding equipment, fixtures, and fabrication tools.Assemble and weld metal components to meet quality and customer specifications.Inspect completed welds and perform grinding or rework when necessary.Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.Production Welder Qualifications:Ability to successfully complete an in-house weld testStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Experience with MIG WeldingPreferred:Completion of a welding program or technical training.Previous manufacturing or production welding experience.AWS Welding Certification.Experience with TIG, FCAW, or GTAW welding.Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
