# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Surgical Services – New Mexico**Start Date:** August 17, 2026 **Location:** Santa Fe, New Mexico **Compensation:** $82/hour **Schedule:** Days - 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, four 10-hour rotating shifts per week**Highlights:** - Surgical services unit with rotating 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule providing excellent work-life balance- Electronic Medical Records system: EPIC- Weekend requirement: 2 weekends per month (12-hour shifts, Saturday/Sunday)- On-call requirement: One night call per week- May float to other units within surgical services as needed- Full-time position with comprehensive patient care responsibilities across multiple age groups**Requirements:** - Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license- Current BLS Certification via American Heart Association- Current ACLS Certification via American Heart Association- Current PALS Certification via American Heart Association- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and patient education skills- Knowledge and sensitivity to patient rights and age-appropriate communication**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This registered nurse position offers the chance to provide quality patient care in a surgical services environment while developing comprehensive clinical skills across the patient care continuum.
