Bilingual Human Resources GeneralistLaSalle Network is partnering with our client, a PE backed, growth focused manufacturing organization, to hire a Bilingual Human Resources Generalist in Carol Stream, IL for an on-site, Direct Hire opportunity. This Bilingual Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations while helping drive a positive, compliant, and high-engagement workplace for a multi-shift manufacturing environment. Our client is looking for a steady, hands-on HR professional who can balance employee relations, talent acquisition, and benefits administration while confidently navigating labor law, safety compliance, and HR systems. If you enjoy being the go-to HR partner on-site, this Human Resources Generalist role offers strong visibility and impact.ResponsibilitiesLead site talent acquisition by sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding.Oversee employee orientation and training to support strong integration and retention.Enforce HR policies and ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, including FMLA requirements.Administer benefits activities, including enrollments and benefits communications.Manage employee relations matters by handling conflict resolution and supporting a positive work environment.Utilize HR systems for time and labor, onboarding, payroll approvals, and benefits administration.Ensure compliance across HR functions, including workers' compensation and OSHA reporting.Coordinate training and development programs that enhance workforce skills and safety.Maintain confidentiality while supporting payroll processing and personnel record administration.Support change management initiatives at the site.QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field, or an associate degree with 5–8 years of experience supporting a manufacturing facility.Experience supporting a multi-shift, hourly/production workforce.Working knowledge of OSHA recordkeeping and workplace safety compliance.Experience with workers' compensation case management and return-to-work programs.Proven HR experience with strengths in talent management, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance.Demonstrated recruiting expertise using ATS tools and sound interview practices.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel data analysis preferred) and HR systems (HRIS, background check portals, talent acquisition tools).Experience with performance evaluations, conflict management, and workplace injury procedures.Bilingual English/Spanish fluency (written and verbal) strongly preferred.Key DetailsEmployment Type: Direct HireCompensation: $80,000 – $85,000Benefits (Direct Hire): Medical Insurance; Dental Insurance; Vision InsuranceBonus Eligibility: Eligible to earn discretionary bonus.Location: Carol Stream, ILWork Model: On-siteLaSalle Network is an Equal Opportunity Employer m/f/d/v.
