Position Overview The School of Nursing is one of eight schools that make up Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS). Posting Summary / Responsibilities Serves as an administrative leader ensuring compliance with university policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements while delivering high‑quality student services. Collaborates closely with faculty, program directors, central registrar offices, and student affairs teams to support enrollment management, academic progression, graduation clearance, and operational efficiency across undergraduate nursing programs. Supervises the Assistant Registrar’s essential functions, including education and licensure verification, standard and procedure manuals (SRDB – Student Record Database and Regis), registration collaboration with SN academic offices and university registrar offices (Newark, New Brunswick), maintaining adherence to school practices and policies, collection and analysis of operational data, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus five years of in‑depth experience advising students. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Collaborate with multiple constituencies including faculty, students, and staff. Work well independently. Proficient in multiple Student Information Systems, primarily SRDB (Student Record Database) and Banner. Interpret and apply school of nursing and Rutgers University policies on student records and confidentiality, including FERPA. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree. Equipment Utilized Desire to acquire new technical expertise as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and email and web browser along with industry‑specific software. Position Status Full Time Standard hours: 37.50 Daily work shift: Day Work arrangement: Hybrid work arrangement may be eligible subject to approval.
