Capstone Healthcare Staffing ER RN – Goodland, KS Capstone Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled ER RN to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department. The RN will support a full range of acute and emergent presentations and play a key role in stabilizing patients, coordinating care, and ensuring safe, efficient throughput. In this role, the RN will perform rapid triage, ongoing assessment of patients of varying ages and acuity, initiate and manage IV access, administer medications and treatments, assist with procedures, and monitor cardiac, respiratory, and hemodynamic status using appropriate equipment and technology. Collaboration with emergency physicians and an interdisciplinary care team is essential for implementing care plans, participation in codes and trauma activations, and responding quickly to changes in patient condition. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record, following hospital and regulatory standards. Adherence to infection control, patient safety, and quality‑of‑care protocols is essential, as is the consistent use of PPE and safe patient handling practices. Clear, calm communication with patients and families during high‑stress situations is expected, along with the ability to provide concise updates and education regarding treatments, tests, and discharge instructions when appropriate. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts—including days, nights, weekends, and holidays—depending on facility needs is required.
