Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Overtime as needed)


A growing manufacturing operation is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support plant equipment, troubleshoot issues, and help keep production running safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong industrial maintenance experience and the ability to work across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.


Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on CNC mills, lathes, drill presses, conveyors, and other production equipment.
  
  
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  
  
• Repair or replace motors, pumps, bearings, belts, valves, and related machine components.
  
  
• Assist with machine alignment, leveling, calibration, setup, and startup activities.
  
  
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders.
  
  
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and parts inventory documentation.
  
  
• Follow OSHA, lockout/tagout, and internal safety procedures at all times.
  
  
• Support larger repairs, installations, and additional plant maintenance needs as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
  
  
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  
  
• Strong working knowledge of mills, lathes, drill presses, and machining equipment.
  
  
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
  
  
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring devices.
  
  
• Basic welding and fabrication experience preferred.
  
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an industrial environment.
  
  
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain an industrial power truck license.
  
  
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Basic PLC troubleshooting experience.
  
  
• Forklift or aerial lift certification.
  
  
• Experience with maintenance management systems.
  
  
• 6+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
