Insurance Coverage Attorney

Overview Kennedys, a Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked global law firm serving insurers and the London market, is seeking motivated and dynamic attorneys to join its national and international insurance coverage practice. The position is based in our New York office, but our culture fosters collaboration daily. Responsibilities and Qualifications Our ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant coverage experience, including a strong litigation background, experience with bad faith and analyzing coverage issues, drafting coverage opinions, pleadings, and dispositive motions, and conducting discovery in insurance coverage litigation. Experience with tasks such as taking and defending depositions, attending court conferences, or arguing motions is helpful, but not required. We want you to be the future of Kennedys. Professional Requirements Candidates must be admitted and in good standing in New York. Additional admissions in other states a plus. Compensation Competitive salary, annual performance-based raises, discretionary bonus, and benefits package offered. 1920 hour requirement. Attorney compensation ranges from $135,000 to $220,000 annually. Salary is contingent upon level of experience, practice group, location and other job-related factors permitted by law.
