ASCP - Medical Lab Technician
MLR is partnering with a respected health system in Louisiana to hire a Medical Laboratory Technician for a full-time night shift on a 7 on / 7 off schedule. This role involves performing routine and complex lab tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate diagnostic results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests in hematology, microbiology, chemistry, etc.
- Collect and process specimens.
- Operate lab equipment and maintain quality control.
- Communicate results and ensure lab safety.
ASCP - Medical Lab Technician Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Medical Lab Technology.
- Certification as an MLT (ASCP, AMT).
- Louisiana state licensure or eligibility.
- Prior experience preferred, but new grads welcome.
