Welder

We are seeking a skilled and reliable welder to join our team. The welder will be responsible for assembling and joining metal and aluminum components using various welding techniques while ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have experience with welding equipment, the ability to read blueprints, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Set up and operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, or stick welders.
• Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, or grinding metal surfaces.
• Weld metal parts together according to specifications and safety standards.
• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and accuracy.
• Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment when necessary.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required protective equipment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous welding experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments.
• Welding certification (such as AWS) is a plus.
