Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Travel experience required Experience with charting systems preferred Description: Seeking experienced registered nurses for a progressive care unit. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience and travel history. Nurses will be responsible for caring for adult and geriatric patients. Patient ratios are maintained at 4:1. Nurses will manage cardiac drips, perform patient assessments, and provide ongoing care. Experience with blood product administration and non-invasive airway management is essential. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in interpreting arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias. Skills in managing chest tubes, central lines, and PICC lines are required. The ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team is crucial. Preference will be given to those with experience using specific charting systems. Adherence to isolation precautions and infection control guidelines is expected. Nurses must be prepared to work weekends and holidays as needed. Compliance with all regulatory and facility policies is mandatory.
