Job Description

The Dual-modality Radiology Technologist delivers high-quality CT and X-Ray exams to assist in diagnosis or treatment. They independently perform CT and X-Ray procedures, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. This role supports both outpatient and inpatient settings with a variable schedule.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality CT and X-Ray/fluoroscopic exams and procedures as requested by medical staff.
• Operates with limited supervision while maintaining high attention to detail, customer needs, and reliability.
• Assists medical staff in other departments during exams and procedures as necessary and appropriate.
• Handles documentation of all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
• Retrieves written orders and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting of exams and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent.
• Documented competencies in Radiology and CT.
• Montana Licensure (Radiologic Technologist).
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) advanced certification in CT.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Two (2) years of previous radiology experience preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in health care related studies preferred.
