One of Alabama's most respected GC's is seeking a local Project Manager. Family-owned, mid-sized GC local to Montgomery. Minimal travel with this role.
About Our Client
Our client is a smaller organization specializing in providing high-quality services within the Construction industry. Known for their personable approach and management style, this GC has remained a leader with regards to employee retention and overall satisfaction across the board. With two offices in Alabama and Georgia, about 20 employees, and projects spanning the Commercial, Automotive, and Manufacturing industries, this company is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a personable atmosphere with exciting work. They are hiring due to growth and a couple of upcoming retirements in the business. The ideal candidate will be interested in maintaining an existing reputation of excellence, and building on it with new business opportunities and client acquisition.
Job Description
- Manage a mixed-bag of Commercial projects, mostly from the ground-up
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and execution
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure quality delivery
- Maintain strong client relationships throughout lifecycle
- Support preconstruction through closeout phases
- Report to the office in Montgomery daily

The Successful Applicant
- 7+ years of Project Management experience
- Track record of delivering ground-up builds
- Experience with tilt-wall industrial projects is a major advantage
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- Ability to manage budgets and financial responsibilities
- Desire to find a career, not a one-off job
