QA - Web Application (UI), User Interface Tester

QA Tester - UI / Web Application Testing DURATION: 6 month Contract to Hire Location: On site Chicago 2 days a week Looking for a QA Tester that is a Senior and specializes in web application 90% (UI), user interface frontend testing. You will need experience with selenium would like to see some playwright. They are going from selenium to playwright. Technical Requirements Strong UI automation experience (90% front-end testing focus) Current tech stack: Selenium with C# Playwright knowledge is highly desirable as the team plans to migrate to this framework Supporting Skills Basic SQL skills for querying databases (select queries, joins) Basic API knowledge Ability to integrate test data from APIs and databases rather than hard-coding Must be located in Chicago area Office attendance (twice weekly) required only after conversion to full-time This includes Integration testing, Customer Data Quality testing, Usability (Functional and Performance) testing, Regression testing etc. Position Requirements Strong hands-on experience in Selenium Strong hands-on experience in Web Application UI Testing At least 8 years of professional experience on a variety of projects in Test Strategy, Test Design, Test Execution analysis & reporting.
