MIG Welder

• Perform MIG welding on carbon steel components according to blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Fabricate, repair, and assemble racks and structural metal components from start to finish.
• Complete first articles, fixtures, and custom fabrication projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, weld symbols, and production drawings.
• Inspect completed welds to verify structural integrity and compliance with quality standards.
• Troubleshoot welding, fabrication, and assembly issues while making necessary adjustments.
• Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with prototype and custom build projects as required.
• Mentor and train less experienced welders while promoting best practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, workplace organization (6S), and safety programs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Meet daily production schedules while maintaining quality workmanship.

• Previous MIG welding experience on carbon steel required.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of welding and fabrication experience required.
• 3-5 years of welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, weld symbols, and technical drawings.
• Experience with prototype or custom fabrication projects preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and assist in leading or mentoring team members.
• Commitment to producing high-quality workmanship while following all safety standards.
• Ability to pass a welding test.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required.
