Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Post Partum Floor care is needed in the Corpus Christi Bay Area. This position involves providing quality patient care in a busy postpartum unit, supporting new mothers and their infants. The role requires working day shifts according to a 12-hour schedule with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Location: Corpus Christi Bay Area
• Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift
• Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum, start date 09/07/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Infant Follow-up Monitoring (IFM); no minimum experience required but preferred 1 year of relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in childbirth and postpartum (L&D PP), skills in Meditech electronic medical record system, and previous L&D experience.
• Position Details:
  • Unit with 12 beds, staffed by 9 registered nurses and 2 new graduates in orientation, with a focus on routine assessments, fetal and vital sign monitoring, and finger sticks.
  • Equipment includes Baxter IV Pumps and GE Fetal Monitoring systems.
  • Float: May care for Antepartum (APU) patients and postpartum (PP) moms.
  • Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs
  • Weekend shifts are required, with a 4 days on, 4 days off schedule.
  • Candidates must have outgoing, eager, and confident personalities.
