About the Position

We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for a locum assignment in North Dakota beginning September 20, 2026 , through December 31, 2026 (approximately 14 weeks ).

Position Details

• Specialty: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Location: North Dakota
• Assignment Length: September 20, 2026 – December 31, 2026
• Practice Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health
• Schedule: 8–10 hour shifts, Monday–Friday
• Weekend Coverage: Occasional weekends as needed
• Call: None

Patient & Practice Information

• Inpatient behavioral health setting
• Average of 12 patients per day
• Primarily adult patient population, with occasional adolescent patients
• Collaborative multidisciplinary team environment

Support Staff

• Psychiatrist available 24/7
• Registered Nurses
• Psychiatric Technicians
• Social Workers
• Discharge Planner

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Active North Dakota license (or ability to obtain, if applicable)
• Strong inpatient behavioral health experience preferred
