Parts Counterperson – Bloomington, IL

The Leman Automotive Group is one of the largest volume automotive groups in Central Illinois. We have been family owned since 1963 with 13 dealerships across Central Illinois. We are a premier family-owned automotive group employing nearly 700 talented individuals throughout the region!

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
• Assist customers and technicians with locating and ordering parts
• Work with the Parts Manager to source parts not currently in stock
• Complete special-order part requests for customers
• Communicate with customers regarding parts availability and order status
• Maintain accurate inventory and organized work areas
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the automotive industry

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous auto parts experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Detail-oriented with a professional appearance and strong work ethic
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
