Byrne & Jones is seeking an Asphalt Equipment Operator to perform complex and difficult construction and maintenance work by operating various types of heavy equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Operation of a variety of asphalt paving specific equipment, such as pavers, screeds, and rollers.
• Participate in safe working environments, including daily huddles, job safety assessments, toolbox talks, and stretching program
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• 2+ years of experience operating construction equipment
• Valid driver's license
• CDL license preferred

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to physically operate heavy equipment
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and stand to operate and repair heavy equipment
• Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extreme heat and cold
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
