Job Description Job Description Position Summary
The Commercial Installer & Service Technician is responsible for the installation, service, repair, and maintenance of commercial doors, operators, dock equipment, and related products. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to work safely at heights, and a commitment to quality workmanship and customer service.

Qualifications
Physically and mentally capable of following directions and performing manual labor, including lifting, assembling products, and troubleshooting service issues

Mechanically and electrically inclined (Previous job experience a plus)

Able to safely work at heights using ladders and lift equipment

Trained and capable of performing quality welding

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening

Duties & Responsibilities
Perform complete installation, service, and repair of sectional, rolling, sliding, and high-speed doors; electric operators; dock equipment; and related commercial products

Safely operate ladders, lifts, and other access equipment

Accurately complete and submit required paperwork and customer payments in accordance with company policies and procedures

Maintain required truck inventory based on the established parts list

Provide and maintain personal hand tools; properly maintain company-provided tools and equipment

Follow all company safety policies and maintain safe work practices at all times

Maintain professional appearance and comply with company uniform standards

Maintain positive working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers

Maintain acceptable attendance and punctuality

Provide field sales support when needed

Communicate product issues or sales concerns to the supervisor and offer solutions when appropriate

Assist in training new employees as directed
