Controls Engineer

We're partnering with an established OEM that designs and manufactures highly engineered production equipment used by leading manufacturers around the world. Due to continued growth, they're adding a Controls Engineer to their engineering team. This is an opportunity to work on challenging custom automation projects from concept through commissioning while collaborating with a talented group of mechanical, electrical, and software engineers. What You'll Do Design and program PLC-based control systems using Siemens TIA Portal and Allen Bradley Studio 5000 / RSLogix Program and integrate Fanuc industrial robots Develop HMIs and machine automation solutions Commission new equipment and support machine startups Troubleshoot, optimize, and upgrade existing automation systems Integrate PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, robotics, and industrial networks Work directly with customers to provide technical support and automation solutions Create technical documentation and participate in system validation and testing What We're Looking For 3+ years of Controls Engineering experience Able to travel 50% Experience with industrial communication protocols including EtherNet/IP, Profinet, or Modbus Ability to troubleshoot complex industrial automation systems Willingness to travel occasionally for equipment startup and customer support Strong communication and problem‑solving skills Strong experience with: Siemens TIA Portal Allen Bradley PLCs Fanuc Robot Programming Nice to Have SCADA experience Motion control programming Machine commissioning/start‑up experience Siemens, Allen Bradley, or Fanuc certifications Knowledge of NFPA 79, ISO 13849, or IEC 61508 Why This Opportunity?
